Applied for a job at SAAB Dynamics today.
They manufacture weapons and such :D

I'm so tired, I should really go sleep..

I always wondered, why do we postpone sleep?
It's one of the most vital parts of our day, and even though you postpone to go to sleep, you struggle to get up once you have, becuase its so great!

We sleep the better part of our lives, and I remember reading a vertical about sleeping 2 hours a day.. wow, I could never do that.

What's your sleeppattern like?

Haven't been able to write in a couply of days, and I'm sorry for that.

I played world of warcraft a few years back, and I've always wanted to go back to the time that was pre-tbc.
I found a private server that I thought was really good, and I wanted to share this with you!

I'm not exactly sure about the experience-rate, but it does take a while to level up.. not too long though.

Starting gold is 1G

My average ping on the server is about 40 ms which is very good.

The server has about 8-9000 active accounts at this moment.

Yesterday I went to a big hall where representatives from many different companies were recruiting people. So I went up to one of them (since I know a person that works there) and started talking and showing my interest.

At first she was like "Well.. we dont really have much at the moment, blablabla"
Then I mentioned that I was recommended to apply there by a friend of mine that worked for the company.

Suddenly she grabbed a piece of paper and was like "Who did you say recommended you to apply here? What was your name again? What did you want to work with?"
So I was like "Well.. I've got my resumé for you right here"
and she was like "GIVE IT TO ME NAO PLX"

I think that shows how valuable a contact within the company really is.. I was very surprised by her reaction at the mention of me knowing someone inside.

USE YOUR CONTACTS WHEN APPLYING FOR A JOB!

EDIT: Yes, I really knew someone on the inside :P

And also for those without contacts.. just keep trying! ( I haven't got this job yet, but I was suddenly much more interesting when I knew someone working there ;) )

Uhhh so yeah.. this guy must be living in his own world of fairytales and unicorns..
Its like he doesnt even see the comments that describe him as an "ugly child-midget" and people saying he is like 9 years old and such.

*big sigh*

but still.. I mean he does serve a purpose.

Toribash

Just heard about a game called Toribash.. I downloaded it (Free at http://www.toribash.com) and it seems kind of cool.

Thing is, I can't figure out how the heck to make your guy fight xD
You press different muscles and order them to contract/extend/hold etc, and your goal is to get your opponent to hit the ground first.

Ordering different muscles around, you can execute MAD tricks and combos.. I've just not gotten there yet :o

The only sad thing about this is that a major part of the music industry today consists of people who are being outclassed by a dog.
"BUT THE DOG IS USING AUTOTUNE!"
Let me answer that by saying:
"BUT JUSTIN BIEBER IS USING AUTOTUNE!"
"BUT OWL CITY IS USING AUTOTUNE AND MELODYNE!"

So today as I watched Bear Grylls in Man vs Wild, I started thinking about something.
I mean the man is totally impressive.. you could pop him down anywhere in the world and he would almost certainly make his way to civilisation somehow.

And there it is, I did it again.. the thing that we all do.
We only focus on Bear Grylls.. but we neglect to think about the one man that is beside him along the entire way, through thick and thin.

Yes, I'm talking about the cameraman!

Imagine going through basically the same thing as Grylls, but having a big-ass heavy camera on your shoulder! 0.0 talk about your Dirty Job ( ;D )

Minecraft

Bought Minecraft yesterday after watching a few videos about it and thinking it seemed cool.
I have not regretted my decision to buy it.

Right now it is available for merely 10£ (Available for purchase at www.minecraft.net)

Haven't been playing it that much but when I played it, I enjoyed it.
The graphics suck and there's really no point to the game, but its just plain awesome!

Inception

Went to see inception and must say I was positively surprised.
Not having seen any trailers (Since they spoil WAY too much) I didnt have any idea whatsoever what the movie was about, only that it starred Leonardo Di Caprio and that there is an image where he walks funny..

I must say this movie exceeded my expectations and it is really a must-see!

Braid

So a friend just called me and asked me about a part of the game called Braid.
Braid is a great indie-game in supermario-style where you are an ordinary man searching for "the princess", his lost love.
In searching for her, you uncover pieces of several puzzles, which show pictures of your life, things you might have forgotten for a reason...

Braid is a truly awesome platformgame with a great story. The gameplay-mechanics are simple and the puzzles are challenging.
If you die in this game, you can simply choose to go back in time a few seconds and change your course of action.
As you proceed through the game, the puzzles get harder and harder.. but of course that only makes you feel more smart once you've figured out what the heck to do ^^

RECOMMENDED GAME! 5/5 BILLABONGS

Migraine

I had quite a scary experience today.. as I was watching TV, I suddenly realized that I couldn't see the text on the screen clearly. I started thinking "what the heck is going on?" and waited for a few minutes.

My eyesight started disappearing partially, following a moon-shaped pattern around the center of my eye, and I started getting a bit nervous thinking I might go blind!

We all have a "blind-spot" in our eyes where we cannot see, and what happened to me today was like if there was a big blind spot just above the center of my vision, and it was spreading.
I stood up and walked over to the mirror, and noticed that when looking at my left eye in the mirror, I could not see my right eye!
Looking at my right eye, I noticed that I couldnt really see to the right of what I was looking at..

I started feeling a bit ill, and got a mild head-ache, so I went to bed..
When I woke up about 10 minutes later, for some reason I ran my tongue over my teeth and it felt very weird! I cannot really explain the feeling.. it was like the teeth weren't mine!

Being freaked out by this, I went to the TV and fell asleep on the couch, woke up a few hours later, and the symptoms were gone.

After a swift google-search I found that what I had experienced was a rather common disorder called "Eye-Migraine"..
This form of migraine often starts out with weird patterns, or "Auras", spreading in front of your vision, that usually last less than one hour, and can also include mild to severe headaches. Sometimes, you can also experience numbness (hence why my tongue felt so weird.. it was numb)

So if this ever happens to you, know that it is not dangerous in any way.. but it is quite scary if you do not know what is going on!

Hellow Thar!

Sorry I havent posted anything awesome in a few days, I've been quite busy playing Monkey Island 2 LeChucks Revenge Special Edition (Also I had to attend a party, my cousin turned 40)!

So what's so special about this "special edition"? Well, its the original game in all its glory, but you can switch between new/old graphics just by clicking a button!

They have made new versions of the old score, and there is also a new hint-system available if you get too stuck!

Game recommended for.. well.. everyone!

Watched a movie today called 11:59, made by Jamin Winans.. do not have time right now to go deeper into it, but an interesting movie! Another great movie by Jamin Winans is Ink, and frankly, I would recommend Ink over most movies anyday!

Stargate Atlantis

Since I am currently unemployed and bored during the better part of my day, I started watching the show Stargate Atlantis.
Now I've never watched any other stargate-series before, but I got instantly hooked!
It is a much better show than I thought it was ^

So I'm taking a year away from studies before going to the university..
I thought it would be possible to find some kind of job-opening that didn't require at least 3 years of experience, but I was really proven wrong.. the worst one I found was one where it said you should have a masters-degree in.. well, something, and have been previously working in the field for at least 10 years! TEN YEARS!

That's like 53% of my entire lifetime! (Yes, I'm 19)

Probably have to contact my brothers or another relative and see if they need any help in their jobs -.-
